Finally I am getting around to posting pictures of Emily's birthday. She had a wonderful fifth birthday. Thank you to everyone who sent something or called to wish her a happy birthday.
She really wanted a kitchen for her birthday. I had found one and bought it and was getting ready to wrap it (waiting til the last minute) when we were driving into our neighborhood and saw a kitchen someone was throwing away. We dropped the kids off at the house with Linda and went back to check it out. There was a door that needed new brackets and the hutch needed to be secured down, but other than that it was in great condition so we took it home and Dennis fixed it up in time for her birthday the next day. Needless to say, I returned the other one. What a find!!
She totally thinks Daddy built it for her and that is what she tells everyone who comes over.
Great Grandma and Aunt Anita sent this cute doll which she loved and promptly put in her shopping cart she got from Ben. Thank you!!
Grandma Kinsman got her food to go with her kitchen. Thank you!!
Denny got her this cute outfit and Jakey got the hat, purse and glasses. Stylin'.
She wanted a Strawberry Shortcake cake and wanted it to be "tall" so Linda took the job and it turned out really great! Thanks Linda!
Emily got to have a girls only play date on her birthday. This is her friend Lexi explaining what she drew in her card.
This was one of the presents she got from her friends. BTW, the cat in the edge of the picture is her present from Mom and Dad. His name is Tux and he was nearly 5 months old when she got him the week of her birthday.
Great pictures! Glad things are settling down, and thanks a million again for the great summer Linda had. Been under the weather the last week or so, but hope to get in better touch soon. Love you all!
