Trip to the Flower Island with Anna!

We took a day trip down to visit Anna and her parents. They took us to the Flower Island which was beautiful. We got to take a boat ride across Lake Constance to the island.

Someone had crocheted these covers for the trees.

There were these interested sculptures throughout the island.

The flowers were just awesome.

They had a map of Lake Constance made out of flowers.

They had a petting zoo too.

They have such awesome playground areas in Germany. Americans are too afraid of kids getting hurt to have these cool playgrounds around, sadly. They kids loved the rafts they got to steer in the water.

They got to go on pony rides.

Then we went into the butterfly house. The entrance was through the caterpillar and you exited through the butterfly.

Then there were huge trees to walk by on the way out.
